Chartered Accountant and a Teacher
CA. Uma Krishna is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a teacher at heart. Having started her career as a teacher of English at a high school, she started CA in her forties and has become a Chartered Accountant at the age of 51. She was honoured by the State Education Minister at a public function.
As she is passionate about teaching, she started coaching her friends even while she was preparing for her exams. Once she became a CA, she has started coaching CA students at all three levels.
Her post on her convocation went viral in LinkedIn and she is now mentoring and offering guidance to students across India who call her.
Hailing from South India, she speaks Hindi as well along with English, Tamil and Malayalam.
She is passionate about Taxation and is making online courses on Income Tax and GST for CA/CS/CMA inter students for November 2020 exams.
